You're invited to our first of two community art walks for 2015 in downtown Point Richmond. Organized by local artists, we welcome your participation by connecting the dots around town or creating one of your own. This year we are grouping points into hubs, shifting to later in the afternoon, and winding up at Kaleidoscope Coffee for a special event at 7pm all together. Join us to connect and collaborate with good friends and new neighbors. Maps with art and performance locations will be distributed on the day of the event!
Pt2Pt2015 will be focused around several points in downtown Point Richmond including: Ali Amaro Gallery, Kaleidoscope Coffee, Jubilee Boutique, Labyrinth Studio, Thrive Beauty and the park by Mechanics Bank. Several special exhibits and performances will be featured, studios will welcome visitors and the Masquers Playhouse will be giving theater tours.
· Washington School students, whose art work is now on display at the Richmond Art Center, will be displayed in several locations.
· Betsy Kellas is organizing a “pop up” gallery of AOPR artists who want to exhibit their work at the Labyrinth studio.
· Kaleidoscope Coffee is not yet open to the public, but Cassie Cushing, owner, is opening up her space for artists to show and sell their work.
