POSTPONED: DATE TBC.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Susan is unable to lead the workshop this weekend, so we have sadly had to postpone this event.
We will update this page as soon as we have confirmed the new date.
<3 ART LOVE STAY CREATIVE (sorry)
Artlings! Exciting stuff! The lovely artist Susan Forsyth is going to come and teach us to use palette knives and acrylic painting techniques!
We will be focusing primarily on seascapes, so bring your wetsuit and let's dive in! (Apologies, but the cheesy joke quota for this event description has now been met)
Some things about Susan:
Susan graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1993 and has combined painting and teaching with bringing up a family in the beautiful East Neuk. Her work focuses mainly on local landscapes especially the sea. Susan enjoys painting outside and working mainly with a palette knife for the richly textured qualities of impasto that can be achieved as well as the essential element of speed when working outside in Scotland!
This is an event you don't want to miss!
The dirty deets:
The workshop will be held in the MUSA learning loft (MUSA is located on the Scores, near the castle. The learning loft is the top floor and has sinks!!)
