 New Hampshire Audubon
Sanctuary Steward, Jack Gleason, will lead the first of a series of field trips to Ponemah Bog Wildlife Sanctuary in Amherst. The focus will be on bog plants and their adaptations. This is a fine time to observe some of the Bog’s earliest blooms such as rhodora azaleas and bog cotton, and a list of blooming plants will be kept as part of the annual Birdathon/Bloomathon. Any funds raised will go towards supporting Wildlife Sanctuaries. For more information contact Jack Gleason at 673-3177 or westonpond10@gmail.com Learn more about the NH Audubon Birdathon / Bloomathon event at http://www.nhaudubon.org/events-and-news/annual-birdathon-bloomathon-fundraiser/
