Oliver Mcmahon and Sam Gould are returning from Bristol BIMM to do a headline homecoming show with their band Plain Royals. After studying at Petroc they moved to Bristol and formed their band, just last week opened for House of Lions at the Bristol O2 they should be more than ready to bring their vibrant sound to the Palladium. Line Up: Plain Royals An upcoming indie rock outfit from Bristol, Plain Royals have a raw anthemic sound with captivating hooks and throwback rhythms that echo old school indie in a truly unique way. Cavaliers Formed during a cold winter in Southern England, Cavaliers came together through a mutual love of pub lunches and seventeenth century monarchs. The outcome has resulted in a collection of infectiously catchy indie jaunts. Taking the upbeat, driving melodies of Two Door Cinema Club and Bombay Bicycle Club, whilst incorporating a finger-tapping math rock tinge to the sound, Cavaliers are receiving plaudits after each and every stage they grace. 2014 has seen them play shows with King Charles, Don Broco, TTNG and Johnny Borrell, as well as performing at Butserfest. TripToTori TripToTori is a 5 piece alternative rock band from North Devon. We met whilst on a music college course and have been creating music together ever since. Our modern mix of indie, alternative music linked with ambient guitar riffs and prominent bass lines give us a uniqueness fit for a range of festivals and gigs. The Kind The Kind play in various genres ranging from pop to jazz, blues and soul. These genres are incorporated into the original material that has been wrote and recorded. Ever since 2012 the band have been writing material that spans over two E.P's " Chemistry" and more recently "The Last Blues". The Kind have now played over 150 gigs together and take their inspiration for artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Bruno Mars, John Mayer and Jamie Cullum to name a few! Ebony Grace Ebony joins this lineup as opener and comes off the back of releasing her EP with Super Sick Records! "Wake Up" shows exactly what this girl is about. She takes her influences from Muse, Fall about Boy and Birdy just to name a few. Acoustic indie rock is what she's about and we are sure she will get the show off to an awesome start! Tickets £3 in adv and £4 on the door. Speak to Chris Wormald to get an advance ticket and save yourself the online charge.
