Join us for a discussion about camera systems on Wednesday, May 27th from noon until 1pm at 217 Perkins Library. Our talk will be lead by camera experts Richard Lucic and Bill Snead.
Richard and Bill will discuss the equipment that they use to shoot and the pros and cons of both the DSLR and mirrorless camera systems. They will also give pointers on how to choose equipment that will best fit your work style.
Richard Lucic is the associate chair of the Duke University Department of Computer Science and the curriculum director of the Information Science and Information Studies Certificate Program. He teaches courses in web design and technologies for non-technical students, Mobile App development, and continuing education courses at the Center for Documentary Studies on the art and the craft of digital photography.
Bill Snead is the Digital Imaging Manager at Duke Photography. He has more than 18 years of experience in digital imaging, color management, process control and photography. A 2004 graduate of UNC‐CH in Religious Studies and Art History, Bill also spent a lot of time at Rochester Institute of Technology studying the science of photographic imaging.
