On Thursday 11th June, Patch Russell and Geordie Tulloch will be embarking on an epic journey between the two metropolis' of Edinburgh and Paris. Beginning at the castle in the capital of sunny Scotland, they will cycle to the port of Dungeness. From here they will attempt to cross the treacherous waters of the English Channel in a kayak before getting a jog on and hopefully arriving at the Eiffel Tower in Paris on Saturday 20th of June.
This task involves a total of 536 miles cycling in 5 days, 22 miles kayaking in 1 day and a phenomenal 150 miles running in just 4 days.
They are doing this in aid of three charities; THE PITUITARY FOUNDATION, LEUCHIE HOUSE and MENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH UK. All of these are small comparatively small charities, close to our hearts for different reasons. A little more information can be found on the JustGiving page posted below.
We're well aware that you are frequently asked to sponsor so many deserving causes and events these days but, as I'm sure you'll have noticed, this is no ordinary task. Any figure would help us enormously and we'd be immensely grateful for your generosity.
