This page was created as an information tool to bring awareness to the projects we're working on with; nature connection, bush skills for all ages men's canoe pilgrimage retreats and private wilderness excursions. UPDATE: (March 14) We are ready to announce the Wilderness Survival Training Series. Each class will be offered separately as well as in a discounted package with Certificate of Completion. Information will be given on the scheduled retreats as well as offerings to book a class, retreat or wilderness excursion with Blain. About Blain Commanda: Blain is a life long bow hunter and woodsman from Serpent River First Nation. Along with his depth of knowledge and connection to the land, his background as a Certified Wilderness Tour Guide makes spending time with him outdoors an extra special learning experience. This series is recommended for hunters, naturalists, parents, teachers, Scout and Girl Guide leaders, outdoor teachers, or just someone wanting to re-connect with the land. This series is truly a gift and should not be missed. If you're interested in learning to be more independent in the outdoors, these workshops are for you! Location: The retreat center is located near the North Shore of Lake Huron near Thessalon Ontario.
