Pascale Petit and Niall Campbell join us for a reading of their poems at The Saltire Society.
Pascale's sixth collection Fauverie was shortlisted for the 2014 T S Eliot Prize. Five poems from the book won the Manchester Poetry Prize. Her fifth collection What the Water Gave Me: Poems after Frida Kahlo was shortlisted for both the T S Eliot Prize and Wales Book of the Year, and was a Book of the Year in the Observer. Pascale has had four books shortlisted for the T S Eliot Prize and selected as Books of the Year in the Times Literary Supplement, Independent and Observer. She tutors courses at Tate Modern and for The Poetry School.
Niall Campbell is a Scottish poet originally from South Uist in the Western Isles. He received an Eric Gregory Award (2011), a Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship (2011) and the Edwin Morgan Prize (2014). Niall also won the Poetry London Competition in 2013. His first pamphlet, After the Creel Fleet, was released in 2012 by Happenstance Press. Moontide, his first collection, is published by Bloodaxe and is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. It also won the Saltire Society Scottish First Book of the Year Award.
