Stardust-----This is our pale wheat hefeweizen, HimmelWeiss, from our Spring 2014 release. Where has it been for the past year? Sitting in a TX red wine barrel from William Chris Vineyards. Dry and oaky with a big wine aroma and a smooth, tart finish.

Some Special Releases Just for This Day:
Lasterung-----------Bourbon-barrel Eisbock. Roughly 12%abv. This is Shiva’s Wrath sitting in a Garrison Bros. barrel for 4 months. We don’t know what it will taste like but if you don’t like it, the NBBCo team have committed to drinking it ourselves.
Das Lokal------------This is our popular white Hefeweizen, LuftWeiss, aged in a red wine barrel. But this barrel was a little different. We used a true TX grape, the Black Spanish, particularly the Reserve release from Dry Comal Creek. These are some of the only grapes grown here in Comal County. So we picked up the barrels on dump day and asked them to leave the lees in there, which adds a funkiness and helps deepen the color to a light ruby hue.
Bitter Rose------------This was part of our April bottle Club release. We’ve created 5 gallons for the party so you can get a taste of what you missed. Our white-hefeweizen, LuftWeiss, is aggressively dry-hopped with Citra hops and bitter orange peel. Beautiful hop aroma and just enough bitterness to wake up your palate.
The Willie Abides-------Our resident dude, Willie B, designed this little palate-pleaser all by hisself. He started with his favorite NBBCo beer, the dark and roasty ErdeWeiss, and added dark rum-soaked oak chips to it.
Purple Buffalo-----------Our white hefeweizen, LuftWeiss, after secondary fermentation with plums, honey and cinnamon. We have no idea what this one will taste like either, but if you can handle the Purple Buffalo, you can save Fantasia.
We will also have a variety of our regular beers like Shiva's Tears, Wasserweiss, Luftweiss, ErdeWeiss and many from our Saur Barrel Program.
We will have the parking lot shut down just for this event with several tents outside, picnic tables and some chairs. Feel free to bring your own chair to sit out with your beer and listen to the great music. We can't wait to share this special occasion with you!
