The Last Barn Dance is a documentary film by Ted Richardson and Jason Arthurs that follows a NC dairy farmer's plight to save his farm and a barn-dance tradition his family started nearly 50 years ago. Filmed over the course of 3 years, the film had it's World Premiere at the American Documentary Film Festival where it was awarded with an honorable mention in the festival-wide competition. The film also won First Place in the Documentary Short category at the Kansas City Film Festival.

The Doc Branch Band has been recognized nationally as one of the leading torch bearers of 'old time string music' - maintaining a family tradition started decades before the current members were born. The band - featuring the Terry Brothers - plays traditional string music songs as well as original tunes.
