Make a stand and NAIL it 4 IDAHOT on 17 May 2016 the International Day Against Homophobia / Transphobia (IDAHOT)
As far as we have come with LGBTI rights in this nation, true acceptance is something we must fight for and defend everyday. Humiliation, ridicule, discrimination, homophobic and transphobic violence are committed in every suburb, city and nation against the LGBTI and queer community, everyday. Often for something as trivial as having painted nails.
I wear nail polish everyday as my stand against fear of homophobia and transphobia, and I see it as a way to show solidarity for those who can't and shouldn't hide.
