The Mountain Caribbean Fest will feature Iroko Nuevo Cuban & Puerto Rican Drum and Dance ensemble, Baba Joe Platz and the East Street Drummers, Trio Candela Latin ensemble, Berkshire & Valley Rhythm Keepers, Salsa & Cha Cha dance lessons with Miguel Periche, Mexican craft marketplace with Tamarack Hollow Trading, Zumba demos with Ryan Blanchard, Solar demos with Alpine solar, Youth Center Inc from Adams, Allen Hayes Coffee Roasters and more! The Tamarack Hollow Nature & Cultural Center, located in Windsor, MA adjacent to the Notchview Reservation and Windsor State Forest, is an incorporated Massachusetts non-profit & tax-exempt organization who’s mission is to “Inspire environmental and cultural awareness, appreciation and stewardship” by providing environmental and cultural programming for all ages. The organization is currently fundraising to conserve 32 acres of high elevation Boreal Forest and to build a small, sustainable nature & research center on the property.
