this walk is another in the Delwires Wire Haired Fox Terriers regional walks series and has been organised by Paul Railton, the walk is centred around the village of Monyash, in the Peak District National Park.

Delwires Walk: Sunday 24th May 2015
Meet at Monyash (postcode DE45 1JH), in the Peak District (South of Buxton; West of Bakewell), on the village green, outside of the Bulls Head pub & Old Smithy tearoom.
Parking: on Chapel Street, Tagg Lane or Church Street.
Public toilets: on Church Lane, 0.25 miles outside of the village on the road to Bakewell, just past the campsite – look out for the “WC” sign

The Bulls Head, Monyash open all day on Sunday for food (midday – 9:00pm) dog-friendly
The Old Smithy Tearoom, Monyash open 9:00am – 5:00pm

The Cock and Pullet, Sheldon
Magpie Mine, near Monyash, one of the most famous lead mines in the Derbyshire Peak District. Worked until the 1950s. Many of the buildings still stand.
If people want to look stop & look around Magpie Mine, probably need to allow 3hrs for this walk.
