MODU:LAR Open Air w/ Yaya, Brothers’ Vibe, Residents and Friends

 24 May
 35-39 Greenland Street - L10BS - Liverpool - United Kingdom
Introducing our first foray into the open with a full 14 hours of music - MODU:LAR Open Air - by day and by night. We’ve lined up what will be an extended journey from raw, underground house music to deep, minimal techno and percussive tech house and it’ll all take place in some of our favourite venues in the city. Welcoming two fantastic acts to Liverpool with another debut performance - there will be top drawer summer vibes and real party music throughout. Lots of extras to come for this one - hang on to your straw hats and Rayberries. ✪ Line Up Yaya (Desolat) Brothers’ Vibe (Mixx Records) Scott Grant Nerram Brennan || Danny Fleming || Sam Power ✪ Locations By Day - Constellations - 2pm to 12am By Night - 24 Kitchen Street - 11pm to 4am ✪ Yaya Needing no introduction for most; Yaya has become a valued member of the Desolat crew since being picked up by Loco dice in 2009 and his career has skyrocketed ever since. The label boss saw huge potential in his talents with a DJ style and solid productions presenting fresh sounds, infusing afro-latin rhythms of his upbringing with overtones of a youth spent in the clubs of Torino and Ibiza. Yaya has moved on to play some of the biggest parties around with a whole backlog of dates from performances at Zoo Project or Used + Abused in Ibiza - to Sonus Festival, HYTE Berlin or at his favourite hometown party, Savana Potente. Having a prolific rate of releases over the years on labels like Desolat and Cadenza further cements his leading status and we’re massively looking forward to seeing Yaya demonstrate his versatility across both venues; with day and night sets traversing both ends of the sonic spectrum of house and techno. HYTE Podcast: RA: ✪ Brothers’ Vibe Tony Rodriguez AKA Brothers' Vibe has been a leading member of the elite of American artists holding down a fulfilled career of releasing music and performing around the world since the mid-90s. We witnessed a set of his back in December on the Hoppetosse in Berlin and were left in awe of the driving, groove of his music. A champion of deep, underground house - you’ll find a wide array of productions with labels like SOM Underground, Freak 'n' Chic, Deep Vibes and MIxx Records that translate across decades and across borders alike, still holding up a relevance to any dancefloor around today. Brothers’ Vibe is flying in from New Jersey to show us what he’s got in that record bag. And with a house music loving city like Liverpool on the receiving end, along with a bit of sunshine, we can see the result he’s going to have already. Cadenza Cycle Podcast: RA: ✪ Residents & Friends What better opportunity than a 14 hour day and night session to bring together a wider programme of up and coming local acts. We are certain that we have some of the best resident DJs in the city, and some great friends with good taste in music too. Some of you will know them, some of you won’t - but come along, show your support and see what they’ve got to offer. MODU:LAR
