 30 May

 Sandra De Clercq
Join Katherine as she presents her latest research on micro expressions and the Enneagram • Discover how each of the 9 types expresses the 7 primary micro expressions • Learn how to use micro expressions to read emotions and more accurately type others • Discover the body language and gestures that are specific to each Enneagram type • Find out which emotions each Enneagram type tends to use more than others How one looks and expresses emotions can give important clues as to one’s Enneagram type. This information-packed 3-day intensive will explore the significance of a first impression, one’s energy, micro expressions, micro movements and body language. Beginning at birth, long before we can speak, we communicate our emotional needs through expressions. For the first time, to more fully understand the nuances of type, Katherine will introduce the full correlation between the 9 Enneagram Types and Paul Ekman’s work with the 7 Primary Emotions: anger, contempt, disgust, sadness, fear, surprise and happiness. Based on 39 years of study and 20 years of research, Micro Expressions and the Enneagram will cover what the 9 Enneagram types reported they needed to feel validated, affirmed and understood. Attendees will learn how to read emotions and develop the critical self-awareness needed to create change and transformation. With the use of hundreds of visual examples, Katherine will illustrate the key features and expressions of each Enneagram type. In particular, she will demonstrate how each of the 9 types expresses emotion and uses some micro expressions and micro movements more than others. For example, the 6 communicates anger with anxious trepidation that can often be seen along the brow line whereas the 8 communicates anger with a downturned mouth and look of disgust that can be seen beside the nose and just above the lip line. And, the 7 shows joy with a ready smile and a twinkle in the eye whereas a 9 demonstrates joy with a pleasant smile and serene eyes. Both seasoned Enneagram Enthusiasts and those new to the Enneagram love to learn the types of friends, family members and co-workers. Knowing what to look for when typing others can help you type with confidence.
