Come celebrate the 8th annual Mermaids in Marshall where pirates, mermaids, and other sea creatures will attend! The Downtown Marshall Association and the TDA will be hosting this fun event. Galleries and restaurants in downtown Marshall will be staying open late, restaurants will be offering menus inspired by the sea and there will be an overall celebration of Marshall.
Fun will be found throughout town but be sure to stop by the Drovers Rest building to hear The Low-Down Sires play at 5 pm. Pot Pie will be serving seafood and setting up a pool for the tadpoles. Natural Canvas, tattoo museum, will be applying temporary tattoos to festival goers.
Flow will be having an open house with a cake and candles to celebrate it's 5th birthday from 6-8.
The parade starts on the island at 6:30 pm. Leaving from the island. It will go up back street, down Main, up to Lapland Books and end at the courthouse steps.
At 7 pm, Pierce Edens and The Dirty Work will be performing on the courthouse steps.
The Depot will be open featuring traditional, country, bluegrass and mountain music, dancing, a cakewalk and lots of fun.
