Come back down to Merchant House on June 13th for another fabulous night of cocktails, music, dancing… And cocktails! Our June edition features a brand new band to the blues scene: the Limehouse Leigh Sextet. New Orleans inspired jazz blues at a classy cocktail bar in the heart of London all for dancers?
Yep, we just made that happen!
Merchant Moonshine Blues is a sophisticated take on a dance night. Dress up a bit and join your friends at London’s finest new gin joint for an evening of top quality live blues, superior cocktails, conversation, and lots of dancing! The party starts at 8pm sharp and wraps up a bit after midnight, so don’t dawdle, bluesers!
THE MUSIC: LIMEHOUSE LEIGH SEXTET
Limehouse Leigh is a brilliant cornet player and singer known well on the swing scene for his regular appearances at Jamboree and Passing Clouds. But now we’re bringing him to the blues community, backed by 5 other players who’ll take you straight down to the birthplace of jazz and blues: New Orleans!
Check out the man in action:
