From June 11th-13th Alliance for Life Ontario will host it's 2015 conference titled Men & Abortion: Reclaiming Fatherhood & Finding Peace.This conference is the first of it's kind in Canada to focus on the effect abortion has on men.
Catherine T. Coyle, RN, MSN, Ph.D.
Dr. Coyle developed a healing program for men who have been hurt by abortion and has scientifically documented its effectiveness. She is the author of Men and Abortion: A Path to Healing. She is an associate of the International Forgiveness Institute, co-director of the Alliance for Post Abortion Research and Training.
Vincent M. Rue, Ph.D.
Dr. Rue is Director of the Institute for Pregnancy Loss in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Rue provided the first clinical evidence of post-abortion trauma, identifying this psychological condition as Post Abortion Syndrome in testimony before the U.S. Congress. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and a Member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies.
Brad Mattes, Executive Director and CEO of Life Issues Institute
Brad is a three-time Regional Emmy award winning host and executive producer of a weekly, pro-life television program called Facing Life Head-On. Brad is president of the International Right to Life Federation and is a frequent speaker and lecturer on abortion and related life issues.
Scott is a Pentecostal pastor and addictions counsellor. His own experience of abortion lead him to start a House of Esau, a ministry whose focus is to bring men to fuller restoration in the various areas that abortion has affected them. Scott is the director of Rachel’s Vineyard in Winnipeg, part of an international post abortion healing ministry for men and women.
Kevin is a licensed social worker, Co-Founder of Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries and a Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life. Kevin is the co-author of Father’s Heart which men share stories of abortion loss and recovery and Sharing The Heart of Christ which is a safe and effective post abortion ministry for Clergy and Counselors.
Tom Golden, LCSW
Tom is a speaker, author, and psychotherapist whose area of specialization is healing from loss and trauma. Tom gives workshops in the US and Canada.Drawing on thirty years of practical, hands-on clinical experience, Tom brings a gentle sense of humor and a gift for storytelling to both his workshops and his writing.
