Please come along to the second meeting of the Save Our NHS Greater Manchester Coalition!
*We will meet on Monday June 8th at 6pm in the Council Chambers of the University of Manchester Students' Union (This room is on the second floor, and is fully accessible by lift).
Join the campaign's facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/832797790141975/
We aim to organise and gather to protect the NHS from privatisation and to ensure that the government must provide a high-quality, free health care for everyone!
At the last meeting, we formed into five different working groups, which were decided by our umbrella campaign to be the five key issues which will face the NHS.
The working groups are:
-Campaigning Against Privatisation
-Campaigning Against 'Devo Manc' and its' effects on the NHS
-Campaigning Against TTIP's effects on the NHS
-Campaigning Against Cuts to Mental Health Services
-Campaigning Against the Privatisation of Sexual Assault and Recovery Centres
*Please do come along to find out more about how you can get involved with our community-wide campaign to save the NHS, as well as to hear each working group report back on the developments in each campaign!
I very much look forward to seeing each and every one of you at the next meeting. Let's take all of that incredible passion, enthusiasm and energy into our communities and spread the word about privatisation, Devo Manc, TTIP and the Health and Social Care Act as far and as widely as possible!
All are welcome!
