Sat 23 May - Paul Talbot-Greaves - Creating distance in Watercolour
Paul is a professional landscape artist who lives near the Wild moorlands, high in the South Pennines of West Yorkshire. His paintings are energetic, illustrating effects of light, atmosphere, colour and value.
The aim of the workshop is to look at ways of creating distance in a watercolour through the use of perspective and creative intervention with washes and colour.

WHAT TO BRING
Usual watercolour painting materials - paints, palette, brushes, water-pot, watercolour paper, pencils, eraser, board, paper towel.
Reference material to work from. Ideally encompassing perspective e.g. a receding track or hedgerow, a line of cliffs receding away from the view point.

£20 attendance fee for each workshop (£30 for non-members)
Please note we will no longer be able to take payment by cheque for the workshops.

Set-up @ 9.30am; workshop starts @ 10.00am and ends @ 3.30pm
If you are painting in oils please use Low/Sans Odour solvents ONLY. Always bring a cover to protect the table.
Tea/Coffee provided please bring lunch!
