The ancient, low impact movements of belly dance will tone, strengthen and stretch the body and reunite dancers with the natural sensuality inherent in every woman. Honoring of the body AS IT IS in its current perfection will be stressed as we dance together. Fall in love with your body.
8 week session, starts Thursday May 21st from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. For women 18 and older in all shapes, ages & sizes. Level 1 Belly Basics will introduce the beginning student to the basic, fundamental moves found in all styles of American Belly Dance. Learn basic belly dance isolations and combinations while stretching and toning the body. Advanced beginners will be offered more complicated moves to continue to progress. A class dance using the moves from class will be learned. The most fun exercise ever! $80 per 8 week session paid in full to hold a spot. If space is available on the first night of class, new students may drop in one time for $15. No refunds given after the first class. NO drop-in students after the first class. To ensure a space in class PLEASE register and prepay in advance. Classes fill quickly. Bare feet or flat dance shoes/ballet shoes/dance paws. NO socks allowed- no exceptions- as floor is slippery.
