The Major Activities Board is proud to announce this year’s Summer Breeze Music Festival lineup, featuring… //AZEALIA BANKS// The bold, brash Ms. Banks is coming from the 212 to Hutch Courtyard hot off the success of her debut album "Broke With Expensive Taste", which was named one of the “Best Albums of 2014” by Rolling Stone, The New York Times, TIME, Spin, Pitchfork, Complex, The Village Voice and more. Banks was recently featured as a cover-girl for Billboard, Astonish Magazine and Playboy, and is currently in the midst of an international tour. Listen: //T-PAIN// “I’m T-Pain, you know me…” : this "Rappa Ternt Sanga" barely needs an introduction. The man behind numerous chart-topping singles of the last decade--including “I’m Sprung,” “Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin),” “All I Do Is Win,” “Blame It,” “Low,” “Good Life” and more--is now touring in anticipation of his 5th studio album "Stoicville: The Phoenix." Though T-Pain is known for his signature use of Auto-Tune, his viral performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts confirmed his impressive vocal talents, which he’ll be showing off when he brings his new live band show to UChicago. Listen: //MADEON// Opening the night is Madeon aka Hugo Pierre Leclercq, the 20 year old French producer who sky-rocketed to fame after the success of his video “Pop Culture,” in which the then-17 year old performed a live mashup of 39 pop songs spanning Kylie Minogue to Daft Punk. Since then, the rising star has toured with Yelle and Lady Gaga and headlined at numerous international festivals. His debut album "Adventure" was released in March 2015.
