Lucian Rinando will conduct a concert featuring great love stories. The program: Wagner's Siegfried Idyll, Emanuel Moór's Concerto for Two Cellos and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet Suites. The Moór Concerto was written for Pablo Casals and Guilhermina Suggia to honor their romantic relationship. They performed this gorgeous work from 1908 until their divorce in 1913. Wagner's music was a birthday gift for his wife Cosima, and the Prokofiev relates the greatest love story of all time. With Sam Magill and Wendy Sutter, Cellos.
