The Moose Lodge (702) is an all ages venue, with plenty of seating for those who want to kick back. There is a bar for your liquid pleasure, serving very reasonable drinks. The sound in the Moose Lodge is remarkable and this promises to be a great show.
Great Willow: think close knit harmony singing inspired by the best of the classic CA country tradition - folks like Gene Clark and Gram Parsons. But the songs are also contemporary and highly personal - like a box of sunbleached family photos. Our debut album details what it feels like to arrive in LA for the first time - big, dusty, washed out, beautiful LA - and start making a life for yourself after everything has fallen apart at the last stop. Songwriters/vocalists James Combs and Erin Shawn Hawkins have shared stages with folks like Jackson Browne, Van Dyke Parks, Tenacious D, and Inara George and have contributed original songs to TV shows like True Blood and Dexter. Guitarist/producer John Would has collaborated with a huge range of artists from Jenny Lewis to Warren Zevon. Our first record is due midsummer. As fans of the late, great Mr. Lee, we are also quite excited to support Love Revisited.
