From his early days as a drummer to his current status as one of the top-drawing guitarists and vocalists on the blues-rock scene, Montoya has forged his reputation through years of hard work and constant touring. He got his start with Albert Collins, then John Mayall, and later toured for ten years with the legendary Bluesbreakers. Since stepping out as a bandleader in 1993, Montoya has released four solo albums and has performed non-stop at clubs, concert halls and major festivals all over the world. “Superb guitar artistry and powerful vocals…one of the blues’ leading exponents.”- Philadelphia Daily News “Awe inspiring”- Village Voice “Superb guitar artistry and powerful vocals…one of the blues’ leading exponents.”- Philadelphia Daily News “Montoya is at the forefront of contemporary blues guitarists.”- Guitar World Website: DRAKE WHITE AND THE BIG FIRE With a rustic, southern sound, Drake White embraces the new multifaceted nature of modern country music. “We play soul music,” White says. “We play country music. We play rock. Then we'll strip it down to bluegrass. I want the people out there in the audience to feel the spirit in the music we play. Music should stir people to experience something, grow confidence, or conquer a fear. I want to help people through my music; I believe that's what I'm called to do”. White's music reflects where he grew up - in the musically infused town of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, population 4300. A mix of electric and acoustic guitar, bass and drums laying a thick groove, mandolin and fiddle swirling though the air and organ hovering above it all like the high harmony of a gospel choir – White's sound is both familiar and modern. He was named one of Billboard Magazine's 10 Hot Country Artists to Watch in 2015, dubbed “an electric performer with a gospel howl” by Rolling Stone Country, and made the Rolling Stone's list of the 37 Best Things We Saw at CMA Fest 2014. Dot Records General Manager Chris Stacey says “Watching Drake perform is like going to church. He is one of the most dynamic performers in the Country format. He is quite literally undeniable.” Website: PACIFIC GROOVE BAND Bill Vallaire--Guitar, Bass, Vocals, Trumpet Joe Vallaire--Bass, Guitar Bobby Marinaro-- Vocals, Percussion Ramon Vallejo--Piano, Vocals Tamas Marius--Tenor/Alto Saxes, Flute, Vocals Eric Dormody--Drums, Vocals Pacific Groove Band is 6 seasoned musicians that love to groove.
