Time for a new walk.
This time I thought we'd try the SL boat Sjövägen to go to Lidingö. It leaves central Stockholm from Nybrokajen which is roughly between Östermalmstorg and Kungsträdgården. It stops three times in Nacka before going to Lidingö so it's a scenic route not a fast one.
This is a small electric ferry upon which SL tickets are valid. We're taking the 12:40 departure so be on time.
Sadly the boat stop is in what's probably Lidingös most industrialized area which just looks like a giant construction site. So from there we'll take a bus to the natural reserve.
We'll walk through the natural reserve by a pretty lake and head to an old farm that's converted into a café / restaurant.
From there we'll walk to the stables and see some horses. Thereafter we'll head past the golf course to the old island church and lastly on to a nice rune carving and an old wind mill that are near the student housing area on the north of the island. From there there's a bus to Ropsten.
As usual everyone is welcome so feel free to invite friends.
