Just realised that most people talk in kilometers in this sport so I am going metric!
Next Saturdays ride will be a 32km partial loop down to Heybridge Basin, a ride my wife and I do regularly on our tandem.
It has the challenge of Blue Mills Hill early on followed by a wonderful relaxing descent all the way down to the Basin along some very quiet roads. The cafe I am sure most of you will know has great views over the Blackwater and a variety of food to suit all tastes. The return leg takes a slightly different path back to Wickham Bishops ready for the exhilarating descent down the hill we climbed earlier and on into Witham.
A ride that can be done by anyone that is reasonably active and has a bike in good working order, particularly the brakes for the descent! Meet at 9:15 for a prompt 9:30 departure.
No excuses, get on your bike and join in the fun!
