Lake Moogerah is one of our premier events. We are planning a photography trip out to lake Moogerah on the 16th of May. Lake Moogerah is a scenic retreat situated 1 hour 30 min drive south-west of Brisbane away from all the light pollution offering a clear view of the night sky.
But we need your help! To make a trip like this possible we need volunteers to drive out to lake Moogerah. If you are interested in helping out please contact us via email (email@example.com) or facebook with the number of passengers you can take. Note: Drivers will be compensated for the cost of fuel.
The plan is to meet at UQ at 4pm where we will have a brief presentation about astrophotography. Following this, we will depart UQ and drive out to lake Moogerah where we will arrive during twilight, giving you a little bit of light to get set up. We plan to shoot for around 3 hours and depart at 9:30pm arriving back at UQ at 11pm (You are welcome to stay for a shorter or longer time however this depends on car availability).
If you have any questions please contact us via email or facebook.
