This year our chapter will celebrate the founding of the De La Salle Brothers in 1682 by the great pedagogical reformer, educator and parish priest, St. John Baptist de La Salle, by participating in the Sunday Mass with our affiliated church in Chinatown, Los Angeles.
Whether you are a Catholic or non-religious alumnus, it is important we come together to pay tribute and honor our school's founding father, who because of his vision, leadership and methodology in providing public education to all children regardless of their parents' social standing, provided us the opportunity to higher education and what brought us here today.
Please come celebrate and participate in the La Salle Day Mass and join other invited guests of La Salle Brothers.
