Its time for our final Cragg Vale gig at the very special location behind the Robin Hood.
Two legends of the Japanese musical underground join forces and light up an intimate space at 1000 feet above sea level in the beautiful village of Cragg Vale, up above Hebden Bridge. KK Null made his name leading the band Zeni Geva (most of their albums were produced with Steve Albini and released on Alternative Tentacles) and went on to collaborate with John Zorn, Boredoms, Jim O’Rourke, Keiji Haino, Earth, Fred Frith and many more. Kawabata Makoto should need no introduction to our regular gig goers as leader of Acid Mothers Temple. He’s also played Hebden Bridge with his noise rock band Mainliner and played solo last year.
Support comes from local drone-weaver Jake Blanchard. Light show from White Rabbit.
It will be £10 on the door if any tickets are left. Advance tickets are £8 from our shop
PLEASE NOTE: there are two pubs called the Robin Hood in the Hebden Bridge area. If you google Robin Hood Hebden Bridge, it brings up the other one which is right on the other side of the parish boundary in Pecket Well. Don’t go there or you will miss the gig.
