Are the strangers travelling through or recent immigrants? Curious, and unfamiliar with our unwritten rules, they become a mirror of how we behave, and how we relate to what is different.
This theatrical company from Barcelona creates intense, moving and disturbing encounters on the street. They move in the borderland between theatre, roleplay and reality, and have given audiences in many European cities a new take on their surroundings.
By standing outside the established majority and looking at the city for the first time, the strangers reveal some aspects of our way of behaving that we do not see so clearly ourselves. The theatrical company Kamchàtka describes the project as a tribute to simplicity, spontaneity and humanism.
