Refreshements - RSFA Parents Group Duration of Game - TBC Start of Play A kick off is taken at the centre of the playing area to start the game and after a goal has been scored. Opponents must be 4.5metres (5 yards) away from the ball, and in their own half of the field. Offside There is no offside. Ball In and Out of Play There is no height restriction for the ball. The ball will be returned to play by a kick in at U8 and U10 levels and by throw in at U13 level. Players cannot score directly from a kick or throw in. Free Kicks All free kicks, with the exception as stated in the goal kick rule below, are direct and the opposition must be at least 4.5 metres (5 yards) away from the ball. Goal Kicks Goal kicks are taken from the edge of the penalty area. The opposition must be at least 4.5 metres (5 yards) away and the ball must be kicked out of the penalty area. If the ball is caught or picked up in the course of the regular game the goalkeeper can throw or kick the ball as he or she sees fit. Corner Kicks The opposition must be at least 4.5 metres (5 yards) away from the ball. Back Pass Rule The back pass rule will apply as normal at U11, U13 and U15 level. An indirect kick will be awarded if the goalkeeper picks up a back pass. At U7 and U9 level the back pass rule will not be enforced. Eligibility of Players The competition will be divided into the following age groups: 7 and under - 2008 - 9 and under – 2006 – 2007 (Birth Year) 11 and under – 2005 – 2004 (Birth Year) 13 and under – 2003 – 2002 (Birth Year) 15 and Under - 2001 - 1999 Girls can play up to one year older. The onus is on the team manager to prove that his players are the correct age. Awards - TBC
