Jennis brings together award-winning Guelph-based Dennis Gaumond’s decades of experience writing and performing original blues and folk and the diverse musical experiences of veteran Toronto indie-scene multi-instrumentalist Jen Gillmor. Their unique blend of dobro and cello is augmented by didgeridoo, custom-tuned harmonicas, flute, wah-guitar, jaw harp and wazinator. Jennis released their debut album, The Current, was released in June 2014.

ABOUT SARAH BEATTY:
Sarah Beatty is a Hamilton based singer-songwriter who grew up with two hometowns and many addresses on both sides of the border. Deftly occupying the space between blues, jazz, country, and soulful styled roots music, her music shines brightly with dynamic vocals, imaginative lyrics, and sing-song melodies. She's a versatile performer who can stomp a deep groove and deliver a Regina Spektor-esque quirkiness, all while simultaneously summoning the ache of Billie Holiday. She takes audiences to other worlds, and brings them back home slack-jawed and cheering for more.
