As a drummer, she has performed all over the country and on TV programs such as Good Morning America, VH1, and Live with Kelly and Michael with 2-time Grammy Nominated Capitol Records recording artist Mary Lambert. In Seattle, she is a prolific drummer, playing in a huge variety of bands and crossing over many different genres. As a songwriter, Heather has been exploring her own voice and performs her original songs on ukulele. She plans to record an EP of her own music within the next year. MARBLE is a moody, funky, female-fronted rock band. With backgrounds in Jazz, Bluegrass, Grunge, Funk, and Rock, they have created an eclectic fusion of these styles, that are showcased in an emotion-evoking original set, and are heavily anchored by a distinct rhythm and mood. They are a new band, but none are strangers to the music scene. Joel Hoyer is quickly becoming recognized as the Seattle go-to for funk bass playing. Most recently, he's been recording with the likes of Blake Noble and Jazmarae Beebe, and just finished cutting his first album with his family band: The Hoyer Brothers. Chantel Bailey has been actively involved in the music scene since she was 10 years old, primarily playing bluegrass fiddle until the age of 16. In high school she became heavily involved in select Jazz Ensembles and recorded and preformed with folk artist, Dylan Morrison. Backed by Isaac Castillo on lead guitar, and Scott Allan on drums, this new group projects a fresh, unedited Seattle sound. Jazmarae Beebe is a powerful vocalist and an earnest songwriter. Coming from a long line of successful jazz players, Beebe has a soulful sound all her own that roots her diverse background in a melancholy blend of jazz and Motown influences. But it is not a darkness that wallows; instead, Jazmarae plants herself firmly in front of her talented band of guitars, keys, drums, horns and harmonies, proclaiming confidently the ownership of her heartaches. And make no mistake, she expels them— atop grooves that grab the audience and carry it in rhythm to the rush of their release. Beebe has shown her versatility singing with a wide variety of acts and in many different styles – ranging from jazz with the NATO band in Tuscia, Italy to fronting the Rock/Pop group Red Means Go to singing folk/alt country with the Nick Foster Band in Seattle, WA. She has shared the stage with the likes of Allen Stone, The Lonely Forest, Star Anna, Barcelona, Van Eps and Ivan & Alyosha. She has also occasioned to sit in with Seattle trio McTuff. And now Jazmarae brings to you her very own style of song that will move you.
