Yes you heard right WildSoc are going to the Isle of May! On the 23rd of May just after exams we are going to put ourselves in the heart of one of the most spectacular hotspots for seabirds and seals in Scotland, in fact the world!
You'll see puffins, razorbills, guillemots, gannets, grey seals, eiders, shags, cormorants, arctic terns.
The plan is to take a coach from St Andrews to Anstruther harbour. Coach will pick-up from outside Madras college on South street at 8.30am - PLEASE be there at 8.20am so we can check we've got everybody, we can't afford to leave late.
We'll be back in St Andrews by 4pm at the latest (coach leaving Anstruther harbour at 3.30pm).
***Coach costs will be paid for all members, but non members need to bring £4 to cover the cost of travel***
To come along you need to book online here: http://www.isleofmayferry.com/may.php
or ring up :)
The ferry costs £22 for students.
This should be an amazing experience - I went myself at the same time last year and I've never forgotten it! Please let us know if you're coming by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org because we need to know roughly how many people we're going to need to buy the bus tickets for. Also we'll post details nearer the time for what time we're meeting and when
