A&B Canine is teaming up with Lisa Bauer to hold a ONE day course on canine conditioning through the use of FitPaws! FitPaws is a very interactive way to work with your dog while strengthening and conditioning your dog for your specific dog sport, or just for fun! Please come join us on Sunday June 14th for this fun-filled afternoon! 8 working spots are available for 45$ a spot, one dog PER handler. Audit spots are only 25$.
If you choose to sign up for a working spot, you and your dog will go through each exercise with Lisa! Dogs will be worked in a circuit training style, completing each station!
If you have any specific questions about the course, please feel free to contact Ashley Majetic for further details or additional questions!
A little about Lisa:
Lisa Bauer has owned and trained Dalmatians since 1988, and currently, she and her husband Jim share their home with three Dalmatians, Tess, 10, Jazz, 7, and Indy, 3. Lisa has earned titles with her Dalmatians in agility, obedience, and rally obedience. All three are Therapy Dogs with Therapy Dogs International, as well as Canine Good Citizens; two are AKC Therapy Dogs and two have earned the AKC Community Canine (Advanced CGC) designation. In 2010, while preparing for a Dalmatian Road Trial (an event for Dalmatians where the dog gaits alongside a horse over a 12.5 mile course), she became interested in canine conditioning through the use of fitness balls and other canine fitness equipment. Since that time, Lisa’s dogs have experienced the benefits of canine conditioning and Lisa has taught seminars and classes at several local training facilities.
