Multi-platinum selling pop musician Ingrid Michaelson will follow up her most-successful year yet by headlining her biggest concert tour ever. “A Summer Night Out” will see Ingrid playing her largest venues ever, making stops nationwide, including the Greek Theatre, LA on June 11 with special guests Jukebox The Ghost and Greg Holden.
This February Michaelson released the music video for her new single “Time Machine” (now over 800,000 views) to incredible fanfare, including BuzzFeed who loved the “sexy, scintillating new single.” The music video, produced by SoulPancake, features an A-List comedic cast including Rainn Wilson, Matt Jones, Jorge Garcia, Rob Delaney, Steve Agee, Brian Baumgartner, Dave Koechner, Garrett Dillahunt and Donald Faison in a variety of hilarious scenarios doing whatever they can to steal Ingrid’s moment in the spotlight.
“Time Machine” is the third release off of Michaelson’s fifth studio album Lights Out which also spawned the hit singles “Girls Chase Boys” and “Afterlife.” “Girls Chase Boys,” (music video is now at 9.3m views) climbed Spotify’s Most Viral Chart, Shazam’s Top 100, spent 20 weeks on Billboard’s Top 100 and was embraced by pop radio across the country, becoming the first Top 40 hit of her career. Twice already this year, Michaelson hosted Vh1’s popular “Top 20 Countdown,” most recently from the network’s SXSW outpost. The Wall Street Journal referred to her recent success unambiguously in two separate feature stories remarking that, “Michaelson is a star now.”
