Industrial Power-Noise Legends TERRORFAKT have joined forces with ASYLUM 13 to throw a day-long Cancer benefit show to help pay for the medical expenses to save the life of a member of our community!
All ticket proceeeds will go directly to the Medical Expense Fund for Coral Kookan!
Many in the Mid-Atlantic to Northeast know Coral Kookan. She has been a member of the local industrial music community for several years, and most know her as being energetic and fun-loving.
In May of 2013 Coral was diagnosed with stage 3B Gynecological cancer and has been battling it since. Her last PET scan showed signs of metastasis in her lungs, bones and lymph nodes. She has been fighting an incredibly difficult uphill battle for her very survival, compounded by the astronomical medical expenses associated with her treament.
(For more info, check out her fundraiser on GiveForward.com - https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/8lf6 )
She now lives in Florida but Terrorfakt is already covering her travel expenses to be here for the show.
The response we've gotten to this initiative has been amazing, and Ben (Terrorfakt) literally had to start turning people down because we weren't going to have room on the bill for everyone.
This incredible show will feature LIVE performances (in no particular order) from:
Panic Lift (a special old-school set)
And sets from some of the area's greatest DJs:
Mighty Mike Saga
On top of that, we'll have special giveaways all day from Metropolis Records, Electronic Saviours, and Distortion Productions.
We're still finalizing some details, so there will be more to announce, but Doors will be at 3pm, Tickets are $20 a piece (though you can donate more if you like), and are available at the door and on Ticketfly: http://ticketf.ly/1EjY1wC
You MUST be 21+ with valid ID to attend.
MOJO 13 is located at 1706 Philadelphia Pike. Wilmington, DE 19809
Q. Can I get a discount / on the Guestlist?
A. Are you fucking kidding me? There is NO GUESTLIST! The bands are all paying their OWN money to travel, and everyone is working for charity. If you can't pay $20 for this awesome show and for this good of a cause, please do not show up asking for a discount.
(If it helps your decision, I have advertising to spend money on, but I'm still going to pay cover myself - Gabriel Drax, Asylum 13)
Q. I can't be at the show but I want to Help
A. For one, the tickets are for sale on Ticketfly... buy a ticket anyway, we don't have to limit the number of tickets sold, just the number of people in the building! Or, at the very least, invite all of your friends to the event and share it on Facebook. The visibility will help.
Q. How many people CAN attend this show?
A. We're a 225 person venue. That's 225 people in-side the building at the same time.
Q. Are there more announcements coming?
A. We're still finalizing details but there will be more to talk about in the weeks leading up to the show.
