Canada-Ontario Export Forum represents 24 agencies and organizations that support Ontario exporters, and our short workshop profiles the most important resources and tools that will help you along the export way. [/checklist] About the Presenter: “Knowing where to look for information on the unique opportunities and challenges of foreign markets is the first step to export success.” Maggie Weaver has been providing business information to companies and organizations for many years, and since 2002 has been helping Canadian exporters through the Canada-Ontario Export Forum, an alliance of government agencies that provide support services for Ontario exporters. For COEF partner agencies, Maggie creates and delivers informative workshops about exporting programs and resources to SMEs across Ontario. She also wrote the Guide to Online Export Resources for the Ontario Government’s International Trade Branch, in 2003 and has updated it regularly since. Prior to her role with COEF, Maggie worked for the City of Toronto Economic Development Division in its TradeLink office. In her long career as a business information professional, she has worked in the chemical industry, the United Nations, and management consulting firms, as well as with SME clients.
