Toward the end of book one of the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali describes a state of consciousness that allows one to directly perceive spiritual insight and knowledge. He says it is distinct from knowledge gleaned from books, inference or testimony of the wise. He even says that when one dwells in this state, a new life begins!
Those of us that love yoga know how much the practice can impact our lives. All kinds of habits of daily living seem to alter around the awareness that yoga brings into life.
In this workshop, we will delve into this intriguing set of yoga sutras and apply the practices that lead the consciousness to "dwell in wisdom", asana, pranayama and meditation.
