Aloha! For the first time ever, Baila Pacifica Entertainment will be hosting a Hula Day Camp! Our Hula Day Camp is open to men, women and children ages 5 & up. No dance experience is necessary to share and learn the Spirit of ALOHA! Dancers will learn a Hawaiian Hula, Tahitian Otea and will perform with BAILA PACIFICA at 6pm.
Camp Cost is $40.00 to include: performance Lava-Lava & accessories, certificate of completion, large snack, water, and one free admission ticket for the evening performance with Baila Pacifica. Additional tickets for the performance are $5.00 per person(5yrs & older), also available day of event. Group photos will be taken with their Baila Group, and may be purchased for an additional $5.00 (5x7print). Photo will be available for purchase/pickup after the performance. There will also be an exhibition performance by Baila Pacifica Entertainment for day campers & ticketed guests.
**Camp Day: Dancers are to arrive at Harker Heights Community Park HILLIARD Pavilion beginning at 11:30 for check in to begin camp promptly at 12pm.
Camp Attire for ALL: non denim black shorts/leggings (mid-thigh to knees) & t-shirt.
Wahine ( wah-hee-nee =female) should arrive to camp with hair in a bun/pony away from the face.
For the performance costume the Wahine Camper will need a white tank top, Kane (kah-nay=male) Campers will need a white T-shirt. HULA is taught & performed BAREFOOT, arriving in flip-flops is best! Please bring one travel pack of baby wipes with the dancers name on it to “freshen up”!
Registration forms & payment must be received by MAY 25th, 2015.
