This event focuses on the history of our area 50 plus years ago. It covers farming, fishing, forestry, and family life of the past. While here you will see an antique tractor and horse parade, antique farm tractors, garden tractors, farm equipment, farm animals, herding, lye soap making, lard rendering, butter making, blacksmithing, leather crafting, glass artisans, antique quilts, area museum exhibits, and so much more. For your dining pleasure you can have Nixon's Barbeque, home made ice cream, fresh roasted peanuts, snow cones and other treats. The Edenton Farmer's Market, our sponsor organization, will be on hand first thing Saturday morning to fill your fresh produce needs. As you can see, there will be something there for everyone. There is no admission to attend, but donations are welcomed.
