HARVEST The Neil Young Electric & Acoustic Tribute returns to 42 EIGHTY Concert Club in Brunswick on Saturday May 16. The 9pm show is $5 and features members of Wish You Were Here.
The band performs 2 long sets of classic Neil Young, from the dynamic vocal harmony and harmonica-driven acoustic stunners to the sizzling extended electric jams & stompers.. covering Neil's career from Buffalo Springfield to the modern Harvest Moon, with a particular focus on the early-to-mid '70's Neil solo and Crazy Horse era.
Since 1987, members Jim Tigue & Eroc Sosinski, joined by Bob Gerhard in 1990, have been performing Neil Young music for fans all across the Midwest, in the bands Harvest and later TieDye Harvest, the Jim & Eroc Duo, and eventually forming the acclaimed Pink Floyd concert act Wish You Were Here. Jon Darling (also of WYWH) and Tim Hamman are also veteran NEOhio musicians.
HARVEST The Neil Young Electric & Acoustic Tribute is not a 'costume & wig' act (not that there's anything wrong with that!), but more of a professional musician's personal homage and respectful salute that celebrates the timeless songwriting & genre-crossing artistry of Neil Young.
