BP along with other mining giants are planning on drilling for oil in the Great Australian Bight and off the coast of Kangaroo Island. This could devastate our marine and coastal environments, fishing and tourism industries.
Let's send a message to our leaders, the fossil fuels industry and the rest of the world to say we want to protect our environment, secure our marine sanctuaries, and invest in renewables for a better future.
Wear something BLUE to show your concern for our marine environment.
This event is part of an international day of action, with events being held all around the world. Learn more about the international movement at http://www.handsacrossthesand.com/
