ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) is a progressive neuromuscular disease in which nerve cells die and leave voluntary muscles paralyzed. Every day two or three Canadians die of the disease. There is no treatment or cure. With your support, 40% of the proceeds through the WALK for ALS go towards ALS research and 60% towards supporting people living with ALS in Ontario.
