The Inaugural Gorges Ithaca Half Marathon (13.1 miles), presented by the Cayuga Medical Center, the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, and Red Newt Racing, will showcase some of the finest running that Ithaca has to offer. Although not the flat loop course we'd initially set out to present in the inaugural year (that's coming in 2016), it will be beautiful and represent more of Ithaca than we initially had planned. Tying in Fall Creek, Stewart Park and the waterfront trail, Cayuga Heights, and Cornell, and both starting and finishing in downtown, it'll be a one time opportunity to run a beautiful and challenging course.
Make a weekend out of it by staying at a downtown Ithaca hotel and enjoying the areas attractions including the wine trail, breweries, distilleries, restaurants, waterfalls, gorges and the waterfront.
