Start off your summer with the extraordinary Funky Llama festival on Plymouth Hoe. This year’s inclusive urban festival has a fantastic line up of DJ’s, dance artists, bands and performers from across the UK.
The main stage line-up includes London’s DJ Factory East, Exeter based Zuri Aura, Bristol’s Dean Reeds Dead, The Rockeries, Straight Jacket Legends, Brighton’s Beat Express and Plymouth's Haunt The Woods.
As well as nonstop music and dance there will be all day family entertainment, face painting and crafts as well as festival food stalls and a fully licenced bar.
There will be workshops in yoga and dance as well as an opportunity to sing with Voices the Theatre Royal Plymouths’ amazing community choir.
The Funky Llama festival challenges stereotypes and provides a unique platform to promote the talents of differently abled* artists. The Theatre Royal Plymouth has joined forces with several national organisations to support professional networks which celebrate diversity.
If you want to experience something truly inspirational and out of the ordinary this summer, the Funky Llama festival is the new Plymouth phenomenon you won’t want to miss!
*Our steering group use the phrase differently abled as a more inclusive alternative to the term learning disabled.
