"I thought the film was great - informative, humorous with some lovely 'inside stories' ”
"It was a great evening. You certainly had a lot of support. The film was very well put together” - Pat Strack, Mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood
"Thank you for inviting me to the showing of this quite remarkable and historic film. 90 minutes never went by so quickly!" - Carey Keates, Mayor of Hertsmere Borough Council
"It's a great homage to a legendary British film studio. Elstree's roller coaster history was beautifully and captivatingly conveyed. I do hope there will be a DVD version available.”
“Great anecdotes from famous faces and fascinating chapters from the past 100 years”
"I thought your film was great and walking away there was a buzz among the audience as they left, lots of positive comments. It was also good to sit in an audience whispering among themselves as they recognised people, remembered things. Almost the opposite of a 'normal' cinema visit. So, a good job in terms of community, impact, contribution. The narrative arc of the studios' history was very clear. Well done.”
"A really great documentary of 100 years of the studios. People should be proud of the town and the history of the place. I found it emotional. Hope to see a lot more documentaries like this one. Good work. ”
"Thoroughly enjoyed the short walk to the theatre last night to see this piece of local history. Well done Howard Berry and Paul Welsh for the information. The history of the various studios is not well enough known and this documentary was an eye opener. We should all be proud of the history of the town.”
"Saw the film this afternoon and really loved it. Thank you so much.”
"Congratulations on such a successful film. Really interesting, insightful, and even funny. Thoroughly enjoyed it.”
