Join me for a foraging walk around Glasgow's Queen's Park, looking at the medicinal and edible plants that grow all around us. The best of the Spring flowers will be out in late May - Hawthorn, Rose and maybe even some Elderflower if the weather is right. We’ll taste and try a wide range of plants and sample some Wildflower Turkish Delights.
Meet at the Glad Cafe on Pollokshaws Road at 11am, leaving for the park by 11.15. The gentle walk is suitable for all ages and abilities, wear suitable shoes though as there may be some muddy paths. If you have any particular access needs, just let me know. The walk will end at the glasshouse in Queen's Park, where there are toilets, cafe and a play area.
