Forest lives in Ardèche, a small region of France, but grew up in Washington D.C. His world settles between two genders, quite different in the end, but which share the same passion and rage within their interpretation: folk and punk rock. That makes you want to compare him to Tom Gabel from Against Me! , Chuck Ragan, Frank Turner, Evan Dando from the Lemonheads or Glen Hansard. All these artists who started playing in punk rock bands before taking the road with an acoustic guitar and traded distortion against the desire to hug wood and to perform in the simplest way, eliminating any artifice. There's a lot of magical moments in Forest's repertoire. His music is not only to be heard, but to be lived.
Has played with Kepi Ghoulie (Groovie Ghoulies), Joey Cape (Lagwagon), Jon Snodgrass (Drag the River, Armchair Martian), Frank Turner...throughout Europe and Canada.
